Our American Field Service student, ROBERTO ANDRE SCHLEP, arrived in August of 1975, from his hometown of Santa Maria, Brazil and is spending the year with the Walter White family of Acushnet.
Among the many things in America that Roberto claims are quite different from those in Brazil are the seasons and the changeable New England weather. He will never forget seeing his first snow fall and throwing his first snowball at his brother Mark White!
We will always remember Roberto's portrayal of private Lopez in M*A*S*H and his famous line I dont beleeeeve eet! And what M*A*S*H cast member can forget his speeches at Barberos after the play!
We hope Roberto enjoyed his stay in the United States; and this personable Brazilian with a great sense of humor, we all wish the best in the future.
