NEW BEDFORD Paula J. Aiello, 55, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Born in New Bedford, daughter of Constance "Connie" (Laflamme) Aiello of Fairhaven and the late John Aiello, she lived most of her life in Fairhaven. Paula graduated from Fairhaven High School and later had worked as an office manager/councilor for Nutri/System. She loved horses, both riding and training and also enjoyed volunteering at local soup kitchens. She is survived by her mother; a son, Jason Aiello of Fairhaven; three brothers, Thomas Aiello and his wife Martha and John Aiello and his wife Germaine, all of Fairhaven and Peter Aiello and his wife Tina of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Nina Aiello of Fairhaven and Lisa Aiello-Cambra and her husband John of Lakeland, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven. Her funeral will be Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 8:00 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven.
