Leroy F. Santos

Leroy F. Santos, 15-year resident of Leesburg, passed on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, on September 20, 1958, to Rosa Emilia and Antonio F. Santos, Leroy loved being on and near the ocean — aboard boats, surf fishing, and being on the beach. He worked with dedication for Wegmans since October 2007. A lifelong Boston sports fan, he was always up for Fenway Park and, of course, the Gahden, never really losing his New England accent. Leroy had a kind and soft heart. He’ll be missed sorely by his family, but also not soon be forgotten by the many friends he made throughout the years, especially neighbors Vickie, Joe, and Kelly. He is survived by his sister, Teresa S. Hanson of Eastham, Massachusetts; brother, Antonio G. Santos, Melbourne Beach, Florida; and nieces, Rosalina Chavarriaga, Gabriella Santos, and Emilie Hanson.
