Hasting Junior High History Educator

FAIRHAVEN — Thomas Michael Joseph, 70, of Fairhaven died at St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Almeida) Joseph for 40 years.
Born in New Bedford, Mr. Joseph was a history teacher in Fairhaven for 13 years and owned Fairhaven Software. He has a Bachelor’s degree in teaching from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving children, Matthew Joseph of Fairhaven and Kate Joseph of San Diego; his mother-in-law, Matilda Almeida of Fairhaven; his special cousin, Catherine Konicki of Fairhaven and a loving extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed., Feb. 8th at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven. Burial will be private.
