Classmate Laurie is in the medical profession-field in north western Massachuesetts. Laurie and her husband also established The William & Laurie Shean Endowed Scholarship Fund established by William and Laurie Shean to provide annual scholarship assistance to one or more student-athletes in the Men’s Basketball program and to one or more student-athletes in the Women’s Basketball program at the University of Vermont. Both are Univeristy of Vermont Alumni.
