Kathy (Gordon) Smith

Dancer, Choreographer Modern (wRI) Kathy Gordon Smith has been performing and choreographing for the past 20 years. During this time, she was a member of Concert Dance Company of Boston, performing the works of Lucinda Childs, Mark Morris, BeBe Miller, Mark Dendy, Mark Taylor and others. She has also worked with Heidi Henderson, Kelli Wicke Davis, Sean Curran, Marcus Schulkind, Rebecca Rice, Peter DiMuro, Groundwerx Dance Theatre, and Ram Island Dance Company in the works of Ruth St.Denis and Daniel McCusker. Ms Smith is a faculty member in the Department of Dance and Performance Studies at Roger Williams University and directs the dance program at St George's School. ARCHIVE: May3-5, 2001 performed and choreographed the solo dance, Veiled, in Groundwerx Dance Theatre's Choreographers Showcase at The Carriage House.
