David Jasinski

Classmate David while administrator of Nichols Nursing Home/House, proposed an idea for a 5-kilometer road race in September (1999), starting and finishing at Fort Phoenix. The purpose of the race was to heighten awareness of Alzheimer's disease. All proceeds benefited the Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts. Also in 2004 David ran in the New Bedord Half-Marathon road race. He resides in Rhode Island.

Classmate Update November 2009

David P. Jasinski has been named executive director of Cortland Place. Jasinski, who was an original administrator of the assisted living facility, returns after more than 20 years in the corporate sector. Most recently he worked with Harborside Pawtuxet Village. Jasinski serves on the R.I. Senate Commission on Nursing Shortage and is a member of the Nursing Assistant Review Board for the R.I. Department of Health.
