Previously, Almeida has served as the Director of Finance for Kodak’s creative imaging programs, Director of Research for the Center for Venture Research and was an adjunct faculty member of the University of New Hampshire. She was co-founder and owner of JOA Planning Services, Inc., that provided financial and management consulting services to corporate and individual clients. Almeida currently serves as a board and advisory member for several organizations, including the National Women’s Business Council, which advises the President, the Congress and the SBA on matters regarding women’s entrepreneurship. She is a featured speaker on Body and Soul, a nationally syndicated PBS series and is a host for the Nieman Fellows Program of Harvard University.
